Event Details

The International Conference of Pacific Rim Management and the Twentieth Annual Meetings of the Association for Chinese Management Educators (ACME) will be held in Macau, China this year. The annual conference has been an important forum for the exchange of ideas and information to promote understanding and cooperation among academia, business, and government. This year’s conference theme is “Gateways to the Greater China Economy: The Roles of Macau, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Overseas Chinese.” Special focuses will be on the development of the Chinese economy and the roles of Chinese diaspora in various places including Macau, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Both theory and practice of economic development, general management, internationalization, supply chain coordination, and other issues pertinent to the conference theme are discussed.

Individuals from academic, business and public sectors are invited to submit competitive papers, detailed abstracts (special tracks only), and cases. Proposals are solicited for tutorials and panels to be held during the conference. All proposals should include a tile, an abstract and a short biography of the author(s). Panel proposals should also include a list of possible panel members. All proposals and papers should be emailed to myacme2010@gmail.com.

There are limited dorm rooms available on MUST campus. Interested parties should email Professor Pang Chuan (龐川) directly at cpang@must.edu.mo for more details and reservations.
